What was the highlight of APA Hotel Yodoyabashi Ekimae
Pleasant
On a positive note, the staff were friendly, accommodated our luggage before check-in time, and the location is excellent, close to train stations and restaurants.
We were aware that the rooms were small; however, I don’t believe they are suitable for two people, as it was nearly impossible to open our luggage and move around the room. There is a step to enter the bathroom, which I consider a significant issue for people with mobility concerns, and this is not clearly shown in the hotel’s photos. Regarding the breakfast, the variety is quite limited for Western tastes: eggs, bread, processed fruit salad, and bacon, which are not replenished frequently. The breakfast photos on the hotel’s advertisement are from the restaurant open to the public on the street level, not from the one in the basement, which is designated for guests. Therefore, the actual breakfast offered is quite different from what is shown.

The public bath (sauna) is really nice. Cool experience. WiFi was solid.
